Hello!I have been researching sprays that eliminate odors and not just mask odors. Febreeze and Glade are not what we're looking for but something that is made purposely for after an adult diaper is changed. Diapers are not kept in the home after being changed, they are placed in a container outside. We are looking for something that will just freshen the air afterward. I have seen products for just this but would like recommendations for those who have actually had success with a particular spray. Thank you so much for reading.

Wish I had a nickel for every time this was asked and without very good answers. I could retire. (WAIT! I AM retired now for two decades).
For starts head up to our timeline here and type into the search bar "best deodorizer". Then plow through all the answers.
I don't specifically have your problem, but for ANY odor ANY time I have a product I love.
Will let you know, nothing cleans the air but fresh air. That's for starts. You are simply adding crap TO the air with sprays, and often they are coverups that make things worse. But I love, for ANYTHING (I use mostly to spray down a drain overnight or in dishwasher after emptying and before closing the door--anywhere a moldy spore might be) a product called Zero Odor subtitle The Molecular Odor Eliminator. You can visit them at ZeroOdor.com online or call 800-526-2967 and plead for a sample. It's non-toxic and biodegradable. You can spray it four or five times into the air, on any hard surface, on fabrics and carpet.

I hope others chime in for you, but that's about my test idea. I live in a building that was built in the 1870s. So the occasional odor does try to creep in. This is my go to and the ONLY product I use.
Good luck.

I placed vinegar in a bowl and it helped with this.

We have “dead mouse” funk in our house every fall. I’m researching air purifiers (like Dyson and other brands). Do u really want to be breathing in those chemicals every single day? By time you spend the time spraying and paying for all those cans it may make more sense to just get a machine. Not to mention that sprays are not that effective.

Mom's caregivers simply used a lot of lysol spray after changing the depends. They sprayed it around the room.

They would also crack the window several inches to let in some fresh air.

It also helped putting the used depends immediately in the garage trash can.
