On the internet I found some senior centers listed with typing in "Castro Valley Senior Centers". I think if you give them a call they may have some ideas of support groups. If not, why not ask them if they are at all interested in forming one. Faith based groups are often good for exploring as well, and for providing areas for meetings. There are many Facebook online support groups. I think sadly enough it is hard for 24/7 caregivers to "get away" to in person meetings. I sure wish you good luck. If you find a group do post it!

Amcdonald46, welcome to the forum. I remember back when I was looking for a caregiver group in my area. Even though I live in a huge metro area, I could not find one group. The problem was not everyone could get away from whomever they were caregiving all at the same time.

But i did find a really wonderful group right here on AgingCare. This forum. They were a Godsend for me during my journey with very elderly parents.

Take a look at meetup.com. It's free to join and they show groups for every topic imaginable, all over the world. It certainly improved my life!
