I think you mean Medicare. If you do mean Medicaid I find they pay everything. Never get a statement so don't know what they pay or don't pay. Really, more info is needed.

I’m sorry, too. I try to go through the questions to see if any don’t have an answer and bump them up, but I missed this one as well.

I think that even in the case of a misdiagnoses, Insurance will pay. It’s not their job to examine the diagnoses, just to pay for whatever is billed if it’s covered. Maybe the only way they wouldn’t pay is for repeated tests like MRI or CAT scans. My husband has had more tests than I can count on all my fingers and toes and his insurance (not Medicaid) has always covered it.

As DeAnna suggests, maybe more details would help.

Ilovemykids, I am sorry that no one has answered your posting of July 15th.  Today was the first time that I have seen it. 

I think that someone else can answer your questions better that I can.  Could you give us more background information about the "misdiagnosis" and whether the patient is in the hospital or in the nursing home or living at home so that we can give you more appropriate suggestions?
